How Studio Finder ATL works

One neutral place to see what an Atlanta studio really costs, then book with the studio directly.

Why it exists

Booking a studio in Atlanta usually means going through a marketplace that hides the studio's contact info and adds its own fees on top. Studio Finder ATL lists the studio's own posted rates, turns them into one comparable number, and links straight to the studio to book.

Where the numbers come from

Every price comes from the studio's own website, with a link to the source and the date it was checked. Anything that can't be confirmed there is marked unknown. Prices are never guessed.

The all-in 4-hour estimate

For each studio with a posted rate, the estimate uses the cheapest posted way to book 4 hours: the hourly rate times 4 (or the minimum booking, if that's longer), or a half-day package if that's cheaper. If a studio only books by the day, a 4-hour shoot pays the day rate. Required fees like cleaning are added when they're posted. Tax, optional gear, extra people, overtime and insurance are not included. Each studio page shows the math.

How the site is paid for

The directory is free to use. Later on, studios will be able to pay for a featured spot, and local businesses will be able to sponsor the site. Featured listings will always be labeled, and paying will never change a studio's price or its place in the price sort.
